Monthly meetings are generally held at 6 pm on the second Monday each month. Members are encouraged to come and community members are welcome to join us. Those who wish to participate in multiple activities are strongly encouraged to join the organization. Each meeting has a theme, and many are open to the general public.


Candidates’ Night Forums – During election years the Colville Branch of AAUW provides a chance for the local citizens to hear from those running for elective offices. We will host a forum for general election races on October 17, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at Colville City Hall, Colville.

Health Care Forums – Provided to members and the public to help promote the health and well being of the women and girls of Steven’s County. Topics are picked to address the issues and concerns of today.

Book Share – Members discuss books they’ve recently read, and a compilation of recommendations is provided shortly thereafter. January 13 at 6 p.m. Message us for the location.

Women’s History Month Event – Each March an event honoring American women’s history is staged and the public is invited to attend.


Each fundraiser is our chance to financially support the local women and girls with scholarships for continued education. Some events and fundraisers are held in lieu of the monthly meeting.

Coffeehouse – This is an evening event with local musicians and delicious treats for a night of community fun.

The 29th annual AAUW Coffeehouse was held Friday, November 1, 2019, from 7-10 PM at the Elks Lodge in Colville, 1861 E. Hawthorne Ave, Colville.

Off Grid Un-plugged — Stazya Richman and Leslie Waters; Zarah and Chip Johnson – Zarah’s sublime solo voice with ukulele and other accompaniment, joined by father Chip of “Chipped and Broken” fame!; Daniel Heflick on Keyboard; A cameo by Leslie Waters and Lynda Heath; Select vocal students of Stazya Richman.

Christmas Party Silent Auction – it’s our annual “FUNdraiser”. Members are welcome to bring community members and family members to join in on the action.  Members contribute items for the auction, and bid on articles, vying to see just how popular each gift will be! December 8 from 4 to 7 p.m., message us for the location.
