Meetings

Monthly meetings are generally held at 6 pm on the second Monday of each month. Members are encouraged to come, and community members are welcome to join us. Those who wish to participate in multiple activities are strongly encouraged to join the organization. Each meeting has a theme, and many are open to the general public.

Events

Candidates’ Night Forums – During election years, the Colville Branch of AAUW provides a chance for the local citizens to hear from those running for elective offices.  October 24, 2022, 6 p.m. at the Ag Trade Center, Colville.

Health Care Forums – Provided to members and the public to help promote the health and well-being of the women and girls of Steven’s County. Topics are picked to address the issues and concerns of today.

Book Share – Members discuss books they’ve recently read, and a compilation of recommendations is provided shortly thereafter. January 13 at 6 p.m. Message us for the location.

Women’s History Month Event – Each March, an event honoring American women’s history is staged, and the public is invited to attend.

Fundraisers

Each fundraiser is our chance to financially support the local women and girls with scholarships for continued education. Some events and fundraisers are held in lieu of the monthly meeting.
